Captain Dain McGlashion

Captain Dain A. McGlashion is the Recruiting Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 330 at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.  In this capacity, he oversees and facilitates the recruiting, education, training, and character building of students from among twenty-one universities and colleges for commissioning into the United States Air Force as Second Lieutenants.

Captain McGlashion graduated from University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.  He received his commission through Officer Training School in November 2018.  Upon completion, he spent time at Keesler Air Force Base for Undergraduate Cyber Training, earning his badge as a career Cyberspace Operations Officer. Prior to his current assignment, Captain McGlashion was the Operations Flight Commander in the 707th Communications Squadron at Fort George G. Meade.
